How reactions count
One reaction per member per TOLD. Linked accounts count together; the original TELLER is excluded. The latest 7 × 24 hours are compared with the preceding 7 × 24 hours (0 participants).
Lifetime participants remain in the record. Removing a reaction takes it out of current and rolling counts; restoring it keeps its original date. Older reactions leave the rolling window without being erased. Reactions earn no points and are separate from carries.

What counts as a carry?
A carry is a TOLD TORCH registration associated with an email-confirmed member account, counted once per member per TOLD. Linked accounts count as one member. This records participation; it does not prove a message was sent or identity was verified. Link openings and follows are separate.
The latest 7 × 24 hours are compared with the preceding 7 × 24 hours (0 carries): more means Rising, equal means Steady, fewer means Falling. Original registration timestamps are used. Older anonymous views are not reconstructed.

OFFICIAL PUBLIC RESOURCES
Your Library of Congress gateway.
Read, research, search official records or ask a librarian. Each resource opens on the official Library of Congress website.
USE YOUR LIBRARY CARD
Broward County Library access
Choose a service, then sign in securely on the official Broward page using your library-card number and PIN. LIBRARY TOLD never receives or stores either one.
Broward sign-in: Enter the complete number beneath your card’s barcode. The usual PIN is the last four digits of the phone number registered with the library. A card beginning with D0 uses the number zero, not the letter O.
HOW TO SAVE OR PRINT A DOCUMENT
On your own phone or computer: Open the item, choose its PDF or Download option when available, then use Share → Print on a phone or the browser’s Print command on a computer.
On a public device: Use the browser’s Print command or the library’s printing service. Do not save passwords. When finished, sign out, remove downloaded files and close every browser window.
Some records describe physical materials only. Printing or downloading is available only when the item has a digital copy and its access rules permit it.
